Moderation & Balance

If someone is hitting their nutrition goals and is on their way to achieving their health, fitness, and physique goals, shouldn’t they be allowed to have a cookie, some ice cream, a beer? Yes. Moderation and balance are the overarching philosophies of this program. Moderation meaning, we don’t want to have too much of something, but, unless you have a food allergy or another condition to where you should completely avoid a specific food or foods, you don’t have to completely cut out anything either. And balance meaning, a balanced diet. Eating plenty of fruit, vegetables, protein, and fiber, but also still having carbs and fat.

Success Stories

Andy's Story

(Husband, Father, and Marketing Strategic Initiatives Lead)

I joined Steve's program because I was embarrassed to take my shirt off, even if I was just looking at myself in the mirror. I wanted to be confident in my body. I had horrible eating habits and needed to figure out the connection between eating right and feeling better.

Through completing the program I not only look better, but feel better. Although it wasn't my primary goal, I feel more organized and energized throughout each day. What's so powerful about the program is it's not a fad diet, it's a total lifestyle transformation change that is completely sustainable. I now know exactly how to lose weight but retain muscle mass. I know that I can eat or drink whatever I want as long as it's in moderation and in-line with my overall life goals.

The program completely changed my outlook on life and it has improved every relationship I have; with food, fitness, friends and family. I couldn't recommend this program enough.

Deb's Story

(Mum of Two, CrossFit Lover, and Swimming Fan)

I love the simplicity and flexibility of his approach! For me this is his secret weapon. This makes it so easy and doable long term because it’s not a diet, you are shaping new habits for life. It makes too much sense to keep it simple and flexible as life is dynamic and we need to constantly adapt.

I have to say that despite the initial struggle of learning the system, looking back I didn’t sacrifice anything. If I go out for dinner and enjoy double dessert (which is real life), I know what to do the next day.

If I was to add anything else it would be, “Trust the process and believe in the magic of the steps.” Once you start your journey you will get what I’m saying.

Be patient and enjoy the ride!

Tracy's Story

(Husband, Father, and Business Owner)

I would do short-term faddish stuff, but I fundamentally did not understand how it all worked together. Candidly, at some point it was going to catch up with me...weighing too much, having a little higher blood pressure and cholesterol than I should've.

To me, this is a lifestyle, positive change, that is going to enable me to be doing things 10-15 years from now that I may not have been able to do had I not made these kinds of positive changes.

I now understand the fundamentals so well. I was able to lose weight, my health numbers got better, I've been able to maintain that reduced weight, and I've enjoyed doing it, it's been fun.

This program, I would imagine, would help most people get much healthier. I know it certainly has helped me.

Frequently Asked Questions:

  • Will I have to track my calories?

Yes, but not forever. You will use tracking to help you learn about food, your body's needs, set up new habits, and keep you accountable, but eventually you will transition away from tracking your calorie intake, using what you've learned and the habits you've developed to help you maintain your weight without needing to track your calories.

  • Will I have to weigh myself?

Yes. Steve will teach you the best methods for weighing yourself and analyzing the data. He will cover why your weight fluctuates (which is normal!) and how your weight doesn't tell the full story when it comes to whether you are making progress or not. You will train yourself to view your weight as just data you are collecting to help you reach your goals, so that it doesn't negatively affect you emotionally.

  • Can I do this program if I consume a vegetarian or vegan diet?

Yes, regardless of what your food preferences and/or restrictions are, as long as you are okay with eating fruit and vegetables, you can do this program.

  • Does this program cover lifting weights/resistance training?

No, this program focuses on your eating habits and overall physical-activity habits. If you want to learn how to lift weights, get back into lifting weights, or optimize what you are currently doing (work on your exercise technique, improve your program, learn how to build and modify your own programs, etc.), we recommend working with Steve one-on-one through his Weekly Coaching Program (learn more at SteveTaylorRD.com).

  • After I buy the program how long will I have access to the materials?

You will have access to the program materials for two years starting your date of purchase.

  • What is your refund policy?

Because of the instant full-access nature of the program, there are no refunds for any reason.

If you aren't, this program is probably not for you *at this time*. • Requirement #2

You want to learn and have a long-term mindset. You know losing weight in a way that is sustainable takes time, and you are willing to give this program and process the required time and energy to do it right.
